Yes, they work. But on VV the 2.8 ohm version is a better fit.

At OP request, I won't list the 10 PV's I've upgraded from. What I use now. Buzz Pro and LT with 2.7 ohm (reg) Boge Single coil cartos. I also use DCT tanks on them both with Smok 2.8 ohm Single coil and 2.5 ohm DC. With 3 BP's and 2 LT's, I'm done buying PVs for now.

I'm using 2.8 ohm single coils, and they work well on my Buzz and ChinaTube (LT). The 1.5 ohm DC's that came with the tanks will work on my Buzz, but get limited to 3.7 watts on the ChinaTube. The 2.5 DC's work well on both.
