    I think I remember watching a video, or reading some article about some woman's husband dying from inhaling oils from some sort of factory. The woman, some doctors, and the media in general use it as a warning against vaping oils. Thing is, e-liquid generally does not contain oil.

    They're mistaking VG and PG for oils. Inhaling oils can cause issues like pneumonia, which is why they don't use the flavoring based in oils for e-liquid. However, VG and PG are soluble in water and not the same thing, even if e-liquid can feel oily.
