    Thanks. Yup, cut back to 2 drops and vape horizontal reduced the gurgling. Sucking up excess juice came naturally from failed experiments with Vivi novas. I hear you on the juice bombs :) Using 3 ohm, 3 while bridgeless. Maybe exaggerating the 'hot' part coz never done this before.

    Same here too (learning part). The draw seems too tight and I do get some gurgling. The ones I got are tiny(short) and gets really hot. I am getting some good vapes (3-4 per 3 drops). I think I'm doing some of it right but I know for sure the learning has just begun. Hope I can make it to...

    Thanks for the summary. Two things that stood out the most for me was the 2.8A output and no 'dynamic' variable voltage. Hope both are firmware fixable just for the sake of the early adopters.

    there are spreadsheets floating around the forums but I just use online calculators from time to time. Online Conversion - Ohm's Law Calculator In your case, for 1.5 ohms at 8.5 watts you're at 3.57 Volts (hmmm... hh357?) at 9.5 watts, 3.77 volts To blow the hh357, you have to go past 11.2...

    Just went there today and grabbed 2 of these. Bought them for the same reason as you and they're working fine considering this is my first time. What batt are you using with them? Maybe start with a lower voltage? Sorry, not much help...
