    Yes. Those are the battery threads on the adapter - the threads that you attach the cartomizer to. It'll work on a 901 battery as well.

    Here's an illustration of where to drill. If you only have a 1/16 bit, it will work but it will mess up the last thread a bit. I've done it a few times and it has always worked in the end. You should only need one hole at 1/16.
