I just bought SKYYcamel's VYPR (for a really good price, thanks!) and I agree it's a great little mod. The button is just about perfect - good audible and tactile click, and it works perfectly every time. It does not stick out very far and it's pretty stiff, so accidental pocket firings are nearly impossible.

If I have any complaint about it, it is that it could have been a bit thinner. There is about 2mm of extra space around the battery that isn't necessary. The spring keeps the battery from flopping around when the end cap is on, but it could have done without the gap at all.

How does this compare to the SB/BB at 3.7v? I have an Indulgence, and my roommate has the SB. I notice that the SB(@ 3.7v) hits IMMEDIATELY when the button is pressed, while the Indulgence has a bit of power lag, and consequently doesn't fire as smoothly or put out the immediate nice warm vapor that the SB does.

Any unregulated mod (as all the ones you mentioned are) should provide the same experience with the same batteries. They're just big battery holders and shouldn't have any meaningful effect on vape quality (barring manufacturing defect). If you are noticing a lack of performance with your indulgence compared to another mod, the battery is most likely the cause. The SB was likely using a battery with a higher discharge rate, which allowed it to heat up faster.

As for the VYPR itself, I found it to have pretty much identical performance to other 3.7V 14500 mods I've used, including the bartleby and indulgence.

The Indulgence uses an 18350, which came packaged with it. My guess is that the battery is probably super generic.

But back to important things...nice review OP! You've got me wanting to try the Vpyr

I adore my Lady Vypr. Pretty color and LEDs (although I can only see the LED in a dark room), great vapor production and the battery lasts through my shift at work (13 hours- but I go on break to vape). I have Ms. T's and TV juices and the flavor is fantastic. The vapor does seem a touch cooler than on the Joye 510 but pretty similar to the KR808. I've had it for 6 days and I am loving it :D
