Have they fixed the burning cartomizer filler issue?

After the first couple of times, I kept them soaking wet. Still happened. Either way, it completely disproves the theory that "it only happens to cartomizers". Go ahead and pull the wick out of an old atty and tell me it's not burnt.

Have they fixed the burning cartomizer filler issue?

It certainly does. I've had both the polyfill that comes in 510 carts and PTB melt and singe, and I've had all four 510 attys I've owned get that "burnt dog hair" taste in less than a month from burning the wick. When I pulled the wick out, it was black and burned through. It came out in...

    Bauway LR 510 Attys

Ok, based on all that (plus the fact that they're only $8) I'll have to throw one on my next order. I've had bad luck with 510 attys, so maybe these will work better.

Have they fixed the burning cartomizer filler issue?

Polyfill, blue foam, tea bags, whatever you put in your 510 carts, it burns/melts too. Even if you drip, the wick threads in the atty eventually burn up. As far as I'm concerned, if my cartos aren't burning enough for me to taste it, then it isn't a problem. Between 15 years of smoking, two...

This has been stalled for too long. Lets see if I can get it moving again. I'll take Wendy's offer and offer up 1 510 manual battery (black with green LED) and one 510 USB charger.

    Questions about MadVapes 5v circuit

Nope, you're right on both. The resistor prevents the control pin from being stuck on, or even firing randomly from acquired static voltage. You can use any value you have lying around. The cap is not strictly necessary (the atty doesn't care if the output is noisy), but it does make live...

    V3 stick problem

Attys don't last forever. Yours is probably dying. They usually last more than 2 weeks, but it's not unheard-of for one to die that soon. You can try to revive it with Highping's dry-burn method. There is some risk you will burn it out completely, but since it's not working anyway, you don't...

    Blood Pressure

The primary contributor to raised BP for smokers is the nicotine. Switching to vaping won't necessarily bring down your BP unless you lower your nic levels as well. If you can bring yourself down to low levels (or get rid of the nic completely), then your BP should drop. If you vape enough...

That's up to the website that generates the image. It has nothing to do with these forums.

EM RiVa Now Available in Shop- $60.00

Why bother? It's cheaper to just take all his ideas and claim they were "independently developed". As with all Chinese manufacturing (electronics in particular), this is the new wild west. Apple is one of the biggest, most influential companies on earth, and they can't even put a...

    3.7v protected 15270?

Madvapes carries them. That charger will work, but the batteries might be a bit too short to make contact. If so, you can just use a couple pennies as a spacer.

    A beginning 5V device?

You can build or buy a 5V box mod for a fraction of the price of a GLV. You can get all the parts from Madvapes for less than $10, and it will perform exactly the same as a $100 mod. If you're not sure 5V is for you, this is the smart way to go.

    I'm gonna go crazy!!

I know all those expensive mods look appealing, but try to remember that at the end of the day, they're just fancy tubes to hold a battery. You can make your own box mod for less than $10 that will perform exactly the same as the pricey ones. There are always options open for those who aren't...

    5V RIT (Regulator-Ina-Tube)

I finally had a chance to test out this part. I think this can work, but it will be a bit trickier than I originally though. I soldered some wires to the AP1084 and hooked it up to a 2xAA battery box with 2 14500 batteries, and a 3ohm, 20W resistor as a dummy load. With no heat sink, the...

Can it be done, soft rubber T- Drips?

A drip-tip could be molded of the same cheap silicone that cartomizer caps are made of for pennies a piece. It will certainly hold up to the heat, as the ZFM mod demonstrates. It's shocking that it hasn't been done yet.
