Sounds silly, maybe, but I feel like I am too broke to be vaping! I mean, if I want to get any of the cool stuff that's out there! I have seriously been searching, researching, browsing every store, addicted to the forums, and just non stop with the e-cig thang for the past 2+ weeks!
Now... I got my 901 nice and cheap, LOL, and of course, now I want MORE! More, more, more! Ahhhhhhh!!! I see all these posts of all the things everyone has, 3 or 4 models (or more!), awesome mods, these ginormous stashes of juice, I can't afford that stuff!
We switched to the e-cig mostly because of money issues, it was that or quit smoking alltogether (at 6.70 a pack and both hubby and I smoking a pack a day, we couldn't make it)... Neither of us thought we were going to like vaping so much! Now.. both hooked and loving every second of it! hehe Just feeling a little bummed out that I can't afford things I want, so sorry to be a debbie downer for a minute!

Does anyone else feel "out of the loop" because you don't have all the extras and mods??

Glad I'm not alone, but sad that you feel the same cuz it SUCKS! Lusting after all the awesome things we can't have! It's sooooooo lame!

I was doing doing so math the other day...I'm NOT saving with e-cigs, the potential to do so sure is there..but I'm not way to much cool stuff out there.

exactly! LOL We saved money right away because I used money that I got for my birthday from my dad and my in-laws, so it was basically a gift! But I want all kinds of stuff and hubby keeps saying NO! NO! NO! grrrrrrr

I don't think he would have much of a problem doing it for me. This has become a way of life. Something that has truly enhanced my life. I would definitely need VA (Vapers Anonymous) meetings. out of the loop for not having all the mods no not all. just happy i'm not smoking.
all i have is some kr-808 batterys and a lil chuck just find you the rite juice and pv and your set with what ever your using. be happy
but i do agree with you about all the choices there is a bunch of them and some sound realy cool but the only thing is finding the rite juice thats where you spend the most (hence the big stashes) searching for but we have the pif thread to help out with that and i have seen a few mods on there also just have to be there at the rite place and time............... i have an new extra older model V4L pass threw i dont use and some blank carts and some tv juice i can send your way if you want to try something diffrent?
i kinda like the 2 pc designs but i do have one 510 atomiser for my chuck i drip with to try a flavor before i fill my carts just in case i dont like the flavor that way there is only a few drops missing just in case i want to trade it. so pm me toni if you want the pass threw.....

Then there are the scare mongers hollering that everyone needs to stock up and be prepared for the ban. Not that we don't need to, but some of us can't.

I think the PIF forum has helped me a lot because it's not a supplier's forum and people here seem a bit more sensitive and talk isn't always about buying stuff.

That's one reason I got into DIY. At least it's something I have control over and now that I have my supplies I can make my liquid and don't have to go to the vendor's sites. When I don't go I don't want things.

I've decided to stick with the eGo and a simple box mod. That way I'm not always looking for something better. It's a great PV and so far has been very cost effective.

Besides, I would rather have the great friendships that we're developing here than all the new, fancy hardware.

Tracy, you can get your shopping high at the PIF thread for the price of shipping. There are lots of threads for giving stuff away, trading stuff, and of course the ever popular pay it forward. If you have juices that you don't like and can't afford to buy more, trade them for different ones. Often people have a lot of a flavor they don't like and offer it up to others. And . . . . if you like the pv you have, stick with it. All I own is the 401 and 808. If I had only known what I know now, I would probably have stuck with just the 401.

I plan on owning a mod someday, wheather I win it or I have to pry the credit card out of my hubbys cold dead hands lmao.. I WILL HAVE ONE! But as far as juices go, the PIF thread has saved my ..... I havent gotten anything that I've traded off yet, but I'm super excited!! I've bought juices after begggggginnnggg the husband, then when I get them they're not my cup of tea. It's almost heartbreaking. Thanks to you wonderful folks my juice disaster is well on it's way to being a success

I'm actually very happy with what I vape and what I vape with. And it's definitely not a "shopping high" I get from being here. There are so many good reasons to be here. I was simply stating that I get what the OP said. It IS frustrating not having everything we would like to try. Especially when we don't have the money to buy what we THINK we want or need.

I know all those expensive mods look appealing, but try to remember that at the end of the day, they're just fancy tubes to hold a battery. You can make your own box mod for less than $10 that will perform exactly the same as the pricey ones. There are always options open for those who aren't afraid to DIY.

You can try new attys for cheap too - no need to buy a whole kit. Just get an adapter for the batteries you already have, and you can try anything out there for the $5-$10 cost of the atty itself. I tried a bunch of different makes/models before I decided what I like, and it didn't cost too much. You just have to be a bit creative
