The double ry4 is really good, especially after steeping. What I noticed is though is that I can't mix it very strong or it has a musty too robust flavor. My preference seems to be between 5-10%. Good stuff!
I ran out of commercial tobacco flavor. So I mixed our ADV recipe and replaced it with the Flue cured tobacco flavor. It's a slightly different but just as darn good.
Mack's A.D.V.
5% Flue cured tobacco
5% Brown sugar
3% carmel
2% menthol (1/10th teaspoon crushed powdered menthol crystals)
25%...
Yeah my switch to cotton was purely based on my preference. What I don't like is using wick materials that can take super heating. When with cotton you're supplying extra juice to keep the coil at perfect vaping temperature. If done right it has no break in period, no oxidizing, heating and...
Well I didn't try my mystery juice that's been steeping for a long time, buttttt I did find a bottle of double ry4 methol I mixed about a week and half ago that I put away because it was a little strong on the ry4 mixed fresh. I just filled up my did clone with it and it's just great, taste like...
Actually you were right graffinfected. When I first start to vape early in the day I can taste things a lot stronger. After ADVing I realized I wanted more flavor so I doubled the same flavors for my tropic spice and added just a few drops of carmel. That cola flavor is addictive.
Something...
An simple over head view of the atomizer head/base the way I converted it to cotton.
Also if you're worried about having 2 wick holes that are 4mm and may want to use ss mesh in the future you can either plug one hole with cotton or install a dual coil (secondary air hole needed.
My next mod...
I bored the wick hole and the fill skrew hole both to 4mm diameter. Cut cheese cloth 11m wide and twisted to make a 2mm diameter wick. I wrapped a 5 wrap 33 awg kanthal coil tight and close that came out 2ohms. I filled the juice tank, primed the wick on top and let it soak.
First hit tasted...
Well I have bored the wick hole wider on my did clone today to convert to cotton, as I like it better. I will take pics when I'm done modding later today.
Hazelnut is awesome, it's so good some people add it in all their recipes. I used to have a favorite cigar brand and the 2 best flavors I liked were vanilla and the other hazelnut, but hazelnut and cola are a must have after I tasted them in a good recipe.
That's all the flavoring I want lol...
I got another ADV recipes that I have reallllly been enjoying. (re-adjusted flavor% for vaping perfection)
Tropic Spice
7% Flue Cured Tobacco
3% Hazelnut
5% Brown sugar
2% Carmel
5% Cola Flavor
25% 60mg/ml nic/VG solution
5% water
48% Vegetable Glycerin
:vapor: The Cola flavor is what makes...
I have rebuilt my novas enough times I now have a fool proof method for cotton that will put any other wick material to shame. I am still using the same mod and method as before just with a more perfected calibration of measuerments than before through trial and error. No break in period, the...
Haven't tried it yet, I mixed up a few new recipes that are really good lol. After cleaning my tanks and recoil/wicking I'm trying to keep the same types of flavors in them for the now since they are so tastey. It's bothering me because I want to try it, need more tanks and bottles for steeping...
Washed every part and put back together and tried ss mesh again. Spent alot of time oxidizing, still shorted out. Tried the rolling paper trick and as soon as it burnt through shorted out again. Think I'm going to try a cotton ss mesh hybrid.
That's why I haven't tasted it yet tonight, I'm going to wait until I clean my tanks out tomorrow :D. It should be good, I have kept it in my bedroom and the only light it gets is from a 30 watt flourescent bulb (which is uv light but very little unless I placed it directly under it lol). I will...
Do you have a steeping room or box, because I know nic degrades in sunlight and needs darkness (just like wine for your analogy). Actually I have a bottle that I would pour our all day vape tobacco and ry4 into from my tank when I wanted to taste test other juices. It's been sitting on my shelf...
That's the best answer I have found specific to flavor type. I wonder what the scientific purpose of steeping does to flavors/juices at a molecular level that makes them so. Now I need more bottles darnit, maybe that's why my honey concentrate taste like perfume and flowers. We shall see after...
Well some are built and meant to be rebuildable (phoenix, did) and others weren't meant to be rebuildable but are simple enough in design for us to figure out (vivi nova). Either way they are rebuildable none the less.
