Is it just me or do some flavors not need steeping and others are extremely necessary.

some flavors dont need to steep at all.. here we go..

fruit flavors and candy flavors need the least amount of steeping..

tobaccos need about 2-3weeks.. the older it is the better it gets.. like a fine wine... (especially our little commercial tobacco All Day Vape) dont even get me started .. im vaping it now.. along with some ry4...

deserts... vanilla, chocolates... they need the longest amount of steeping.. yea.. like a month or more... believe me.. if not. then one day you will find an old bottle of vanilla cookie you mixed about a month and a half ago and say "damn!" this stuff is goooood.

That's the best answer I have found specific to flavor type. I wonder what the scientific purpose of steeping does to flavors/juices at a molecular level that makes them so. Now I need more bottles darnit, maybe that's why my honey concentrate taste like perfume and flowers. We shall see after steeping a long time.

steeping allows the flavors and nic and everything you mixed to realllly "mix".. the flavors infuse.. picture it like a rose.. or flower..

you plant it.. and it grows.. then they bloom and thats whem they look best..

picture it even like a banana that doesnt spoil until about a year or two.. its good once it buds.. :) but then it gets a few brown spots and turns delicious.... its why we steep... it just makes sense.. its no scientific answer but its what i got.. lol

Do you have a steeping room or box, because I know nic degrades in sunlight and needs darkness (just like wine for your analogy). Actually I have a bottle that I would pour our all day vape tobacco and ry4 into from my tank when I wanted to taste test other juices. It's been sitting on my shelf for about 3 weeks now. Hmmmmmm

check the picture i recently posted.. i dont know if it was in this thread or the other WL thread... i put them in a cabinet in my kitchen that doesnt really get opened up often.. its like my little ejuice bar.. lol

but for the bessst results (for me living in hot a.. miami) i put them in my glove compartment... ohh man they taste good like that too.. but the heat makes the juice too weak in nicmg... now... those juices you said you have put away... (our ADV and the ry4)... if its been in a dark cool area for all that time.. go clean out your vivi tank .. or grab a new carto.. or whatever you use.. and vape it.... then come back and tell me it isnt the shiznittlebangditi...

That's why I haven't tasted it yet tonight, I'm going to wait until I clean my tanks out tomorrow :D. It should be good, I have kept it in my bedroom and the only light it gets is from a 30 watt flourescent bulb (which is uv light but very little unless I placed it directly under it lol). I will definitely report back on the mystery juice. Oh look at that another name and recipe LOL.

so whats it gonna be? was it good?

Haven't tried it yet, I mixed up a few new recipes that are really good lol. After cleaning my tanks and recoil/wicking I'm trying to keep the same types of flavors in them for the now since they are so tastey. It's bothering me because I want to try it, need more tanks and bottles for steeping.

The cola flavor concentrate is really good, fresh batch has a slightly spice like cola flavor that goes great with tobacco (especially while drinking my diet pepsi).

I have been thinking all day I should take my empty vg bottle and mix up a 50ml batch of an ADV so i can steep better. I only have several 10ml bottles atm so I have been mixing recipes that taste good without steeping.

i have to get a few big 50ml bottles myself for the same reason... thats why i have our ADV and my ry4 in the 30ml bottles.. because i know they will steep better in these bottles sense i dont touch them as often as i do the 5ml or 10ml bottles.

I got another ADV recipes that I have reallllly been enjoying. (re-adjusted flavor% for vaping perfection)

Tropic Spice

7% Flue Cured Tobacco
3% Hazelnut
5% Brown sugar
2% Carmel
5% Cola Flavor
25% 60mg/ml nic/VG solution
5% water
48% Vegetable Glycerin

:vapor: The Cola flavor is what makes it pop and brings everything together. :vapor:

what is it with hazelnut ???? i have everything there but hazelnut.... i want hazelnut.. lol

theres only 12% flavor there homie... wassup with the rest??.. i need some flavor in my life.. im sure its strong as it is though because of how strong flue cured is..

Hazelnut is awesome, it's so good some people add it in all their recipes. I used to have a favorite cigar brand and the 2 best flavors I liked were vanilla and the other hazelnut, but hazelnut and cola are a must have after I tasted them in a good recipe.

That's all the flavoring I want lol. I don't like making juices too strong because it gives me bad breathe or a musty taste for an ADV.

I'm with ya on needing more bottles mainly bigger bottles. When I can afford it I think it's a good idea to buy several 30ml bottles, a couple 50 ml, a larger VG bottle and nic base. So I'll be able to steep several large bottles of ADV recipes for a few weeks at a time. Right now all I have is 7 10ml bottles and it's hard not to vape them up fresh especially when discovering new recipes.

Actually you were right graffinfected. When I first start to vape early in the day I can taste things a lot stronger. After ADVing I realized I wanted more flavor so I doubled the same flavors for my tropic spice and added just a few drops of carmel. That cola flavor is addictive.

Something odd I noticed, the smell of flue cured tobacco smells awfully similar to hazelnut. I'm wondering if the flue cured tobacco might be a mix of tobacco and hazelnut because they go together just great.

Well I didn't try my mystery juice that's been steeping for a long time, buttttt I did find a bottle of double ry4 methol I mixed about a week and half ago that I put away because it was a little strong on the ry4 mixed fresh. I just filled up my did clone with it and it's just great, taste like a nice robust menthol tobacco.

mm sounds good..

you miiight be right about that flue cured bacco being that it might have some hazelnut in it..

about flavor... i mix at 20%.. which is the highest i go.. why? i dont know.. but i have mixed stuff at 20% and it just doesnt have any flavor.. or not enough punch.. i have read that it can mean that i added too much flavor.. but you have seen my arsenal on flavors.. i dont have enough bottles or time to be testing out each and every flavor one at a time.. thats the part that sucks in my opinion... i find it annoying to mix every single flavor one by one... i have absolutely 0 patience..
