    Looking for a good Genesis clone

    Well I went with a did clone, comes with ss mesh for wicks. I have been reading i should avoid using ss mesh if I'm pairing my did clone with aen ego twist so I should be fine using cotton. I'll just have to double check everything on the multimeter and my better short cicuit protected passthrough.

    Well I got my nickle NR, 30 awg kanthal, 32 awg nichrome, 33 awg kanthal. I just spent a few hours trying to twist the non resistant wire to the 30 gauge kanthal with no success. Anyone have any nr to rw twisting/wrapping technique that you have perfected for the vivi nova head?

    Best explanation so far I think! Metal oxides created during exposure to heat and oxygen createing an electrical insulator makes a lot of sense to me. I make my own straight razors so I know how quick heat can create oxidation. Thanks for the write up.
