    I think it is more the auto switch gets gummed up and there is practically no way to clean it out so it works again. You can spend hours "modding" it to turn it into a manual, but time is money unless you just love that kind of thing. One example thread...

    I find it all very confusing what clearos work with what batteries. Even sticking with 808, I have some "kanger" clearos that are probably equiv. to some SI clearos but they are too wide to look decent on the cigalike SI batteries. Sigh
