    Yah... I squished the Ox-Gard on that and it worked fine:). I squished Ox-Gard on the new sub-ohm kit top too... which is WAY better because it's got that nice curl at the tip already, and not a sharp pointy tip:).

    There's no coating at all on your bottom... not even a hair. The film on mine is an actual hazy thick film that's stuck on there like plating.

    Thanks Turbo:). I think I got the hole cleaned out to shiny (but scratched up). It's firing much better now... I swapped products, the Ox-Gard was too light, I filled the entire button space with Permatex Dielectric Tune-Up grease. Now it's firing fairly consistently :D

    I also flipped the spring upside down and squished it to make better contact with the bottom. Then I nipped 3mm off the end like FB did. It is definitely firing better, but to get full contact, I am squishing the button and the bottom together at the same time. This could just be spring...

    Set to the 10 on the right side (there's no other 10), it reads at 8.2 or 8.3. Touching the battery alone top and bottom, it reads 8.3. Sooo I think there is good/perfect connectivity from the bottom?? There doesn't seem to be even a bit of battery voltage drop touching the points pdib...
