    True,and I have a chit load of 18650's myself. I have also picked up a few 21700 devices and now have plenty of 2x series Batts on hand now. That is why I think they should change over,you can still run your 18650's if you so choose,but also able to run a better battery.

    Yes nice looking but 18650's. Mods need to start departing from there and move up to 21700. Especially with a $84 price tag.

    My RSQ has turned into the only mod I grab now no matter what. It's the smallest and compact mod I own and have a second one grey in basket at FT for order. Having one in each color would have never crossed my mind with this mod until I used one.

    That is what I am worried about. I file a little and then see how well/if battery goes in tray better. I will have to sand around edges to after filling so wraps don't get caught and rip. Hopefully this will work.

    I started using a file to try and file the side part of the contact down so the battery will glide up a slope,instead of getting ripped by the contact edge. Hoping this will help solve the problem?

    No springs in the contacts at all solid round thick positive bottom and stiff keystone tab negative top. The bottom contact no matter how I try to put the battery in,it rips right across the rim down to the cylinder. I have had to re-wrap 5 new batteries so far and have only been using this mod...

    But it could also flatten the keystone tab to the point of no contact any longer.

    Have tried that. That keystone tab has no give if any upwards. Really stiff keystone,never had one this stiff before.
