Nothing wrong with the 1.7 on the vv. Might have to turn it down a touch or if you like that voltage specifically, try a $6 knucklehead drip tip. it will block the occasional pop of juice from hitting your mouth. -

I thought the same thing when I got my 2.1. I do like it a lot but I have to kink my thumb at an odd angle to use it the same way I use my grand. Not terrible but definitely as comfortable. Here ya go. Grand side by side with mini 2.1 Same thickness but mini 2.1 is not as tall or wide and not as roomy with the button layout. I like it but prefer the grand for comfort if you have bigger hands -
Hornet air hole/coil
Mine is more like 8 o'clock. Close enough to the post that I can't really just scootch the coil over to that side and get it to line up. I do not mean to criticize the maker but it does work noticeably better lined up at 6 o'clock. Doesn't seem like it would have taken much research to figure... -

Air hole position does make a big difference in my experience/opinion. I am kind of bummed as my new to me Chalice does not line up properly. The air hole lines up with a side post so i can not get the proper air flow on it. Still vapes ok but not like it should. :(
