Good morning, Reonuts, it is a glorious Saturday here in Heaven's front yard. Snowing like crazy with enough wind to be blowing it sideways. WOOT-WOOT-WOOT!!!
Got home from the club at 2 this morning, (a wonderful night, missed a whole week so had to make up for lost time), and the weather was still warm, 31 degrees up here with puddles from snow melting during the day. Skies were still clear, just a little bit of fog but no real hint of what we would wake up too.
Have about a foot so far with another foot expected by the end of the day. (Maybe we'll get lucky and end up with 3 or 4 feet. That would be nice.) Dawg didn't appreciate the stinging snow blowing in her eyes so she took care of her business in record time then made a beeline to the house to await her morning biscuit. (Damn wussie mutt... should'a bought a tropical fish.)
Denver is expecting 14 inches today so the consensus of opinion was that everyone was going to forgo a trip to the club tonight, (those flatlanders are bigger wussies than Dawg), so it looks like it's going to be me an HBO tonight. Had an offer to drive down the hill this morning and bring someone back up here for the weekend. Considered it for a nano-second but decided that it was too much like a commitment so passed on the offer. (I'll probably regret my decision by 10 tonight but be happy about it in the morning. Besides, if I don't like what's on HBO I can hit the clicker and enjoy blissful silence, safe in the knowledge that the TV won't nag at me for not paying enough attention to it.)
Since everyone has been raving about rolled cotton wicks going to experiment with it in a few of the ERA's today just to see if people are trying to intentionally mislead an old man.
Hey, look at that, it's snowing harder, can't even see across the pasture. Dawg must see it too, she's hiding. Damn wussie.
Everyone enjoy your day.
Jack
