Yes, I'll probably try that next time. I was satisfied with the 1.5 for a first try with this config, and it's definitely cloudy! But I was targeting 1-1.25Ω... maybe I'll try one fewer wrap on the "top coil" next time. -

OK, I'm really digging this latest build... a "zipper" coil using the .8mm ribbon. All the surface area and ample juice delivery of a dual coil, but in series, not parallel, so it's still about 1.5Ω, and hopefully won't drain the battery so fast. It's been making some impressive clouds so far... -

I'm thinking the micro-coil diameter might be limiting the amount of juice you're getting to all that expanded coil surface area due to the lack of wicking material that can fit in such a small space. You might want to try a larger coil to see if you notice a difference. I can't really be... -
