Have you shown your REOS any good movies lately ?

My Second!!!!
To be honest I've never compared the voltage drop between a standard coil and a micro-coil. Any reason you can't use smaller guage wire? 32 and 28 are very good for micros (I prefer 28). Even 30 will work in a pinch.- Crash Moses

Nice! I don't have as much experience with standard coils on the Reo but with a 1.3 ohm to 1.8 ohm micro-coil I get a .4 drop using AW IMR 2000 18650s and a .3 drop using AW IMR 1600 18650s. With 1.2 ohm micro-coils and below I get a .5 drop with the 2000 mahs and .4 with the 1600s.- Crash Moses

Fresh coil going black quickly..leading to not as tasty vape.
Ditto to what yaypudding and pufZeppelin said. I know with some juices I have to knock the carbon off after a good dryburn. Also, I wrap my coils with drill bits and running the drill bit through after dry burning helps clean the carbon out of the inside.- Crash Moses

Like Johnny said, head to Reoville. Tons of pics and you won't be sorry. Yes, I finished it myself. I just put an old 510 adapter in my drill and used sandpaper to take the finish off. Can't find my sweet spot
Lower Nic sounds good. I had to go to six mg. And maybe up the ohms a little. When I started I got really good results at around 1.8 for a mellow vape. Plenty of clouds with the stock air hole but I've been really happy lately with a 1/16 hole.- Crash Moses

I too was non-plussed with the stock Cyclone. It wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't better than the RM2. However, throw in the air flow control and dual coils and the Cyclone is a completely different critter. Yes, most assuredly. Get it as close to the airhole as you can without touching (duh!). I like mine smack dab in the middle of the air hole. I mark the air hole location with a sharpie and use that as a guide when positiioning my coil. Makes a big difference.- Crash Moses
