    Wiggley RM2

You seem to be a little over cautious about over tightening it. What you could do though is try using a #41 o-ring. They are 9/16 OD w/ 7/16 ID x 1/16 thickness.

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

Ahh I didn't even think about the middle of the pin. I've got another bottom-feed mod project that I hope to finish tomorrow, but I'll definitely have to revisit the pin upgrade. Thanks man

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

That reminds me: pdib, what thickness is the brass that you use for your firing pins? I made one up with .01" brass strip I got from Grainger and for some reason I was getting crazy shorts with it even though I had insulated it with the stock firing pin insulator.

    I think my Reo died.

It took me three trips before I finally found some at Home Depot when I got my bottle. The only time the person helping me out at the store had any idea what I was talking about, they were out of stock.

    I think my Reo died.

Apply a bit of Noalox and you're set.

Just Pulled the trigger on a Minotaur Gaia edition from Portugal

    >No cheap collapsible Springs The point of the spring in the Reo is to collapse during thermal runaway during a short. I like the mod though, it's similar to something I've been designing and hope to put together this weekend though I wont' be using any wires and plan to make it a hybrid...

    Stealth 18490 DNA20 wood box

Oh wow man, that looks awesome. What kind of wood did you use?

Optional change of catchcup - what do you think?

Just out of curiosity, what does the RM2 look like on a Reo with the reduced catch cup?

    From noob to nooblette!

Sounds like a bit too much cotton. Try taking a *very* small pinch and lightly rolling it just enough to feed through. It'll take a tiny bit of practice but will make such a difference.

Stop dreaming, and reach for the clouds...

I'm also using a 1/16th bit in my jig. I might have to try a 10 wrap sometime, the most I've done for a while is 8.

Stop dreaming, and reach for the clouds...

The past 2-3 days I've been using my Trident that I never tried until now. I wrapped 6 wraps of 29g Nichrome that I just measured out to 0.43 ohms and tried the different airhole configurations. While I enjoyed the largest hole that I think is 2.5mm as it reminded me of how I used to vape...

    Brandy Custard

This sounds amazing. I'll definitely have to add these flavors onto my list whenever I get around to getting more. Definitely second what John asked, the only tobacco type I've got at the moment is DRY4 and I find it more caramel than tobacco. Might need to make an NET, nothing else seems to...

I have my Mini 2.1 back!

This is my only fear when I get a Grand to give my 2.1 some rest. Little guy's been clocking 24/7 use for far too long now.

    REO Grand and "Sub-Ohm"

I was just thinking, wouldn't an easy solution to arcing causing melted buttons be covering the top of the firing pin with a piece of electrical tape?

    Guys, gimme the hacks!

Just a heads up, but if you'll be doing higher amp vaping keep an eye out for the copper/beryllium pins Rob is working on or if you're feeling adventurous you could try making your own along with a fuse mod.

Reo Grand Copper Vein - Brassed RM2 - Copper Ming Drip Tip

Had a feeling, but there was a limited run of Mini's made of pewter or tin if I remember correctly so I figured it was worth asking.

Reo Grand Copper Vein - Brassed RM2 - Copper Ming Drip Tip

Probably a dumb question, but are the Copper Vein Grand's made out of aluminum or copper?

Help me pick the right gauge kanthal...

The higher in gauge you go, the less wraps you'll need to get to a desired resistance compared to the same resistance wire in a lower gauge. Are your legs very long? 2-4 wraps of 28 gauge around a small ID screwdriver sounds like it'd be lower than 1 ohm with two wraps. More wraps aren't...

My first Reo - a Mini... Please recommend the best compatible RDA :)

I can't believe no one recommended the RM2 yet.

    Buckle Up

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I'll probably be sore for a few days but I'm sore most of the time anyways haha. I cleaned her up and while rewicking, I noticed it was slanted on my ohm meter. With a little bit of pressure I managed to coerce my RM2 back to normal. Thank you so much for...
