    Flavours you vape now?

8 weeks or so vaping. I'm slowly getting out of the initial "try-everything-out-there-in-3ml-sized-bottles" phase, and these days I find myself vaping mostly: BWB (casablanca, applewood), and HHV (Dragon's fire, Gandalf)—all in 12mg. I'm also working on DYI, still in the exploratory phase at...

New group American E-liquid Manufacturing Standards Association (AEMSA)

This looks like a great initiative, which addresses a real need for transparency and standards. IMO though, this initiative's success is ultimately dependent on two things: first, the membership needs to reach a critical mass; for now, the group of vendors represented, however well-intentioned...

New Kanger T3 Bottom Coil 2.5 ml Clearomizer

I like the T3: flavor is very clean (probably in good part because of the really small wicks), and the bottom coil allow for good wicking from beginning to end of the fill, without having to turn your PV upside down every couple draws. A few things though: - I would like to see different ohms...

Reminder: don't forget to clean your threads from time to time!

I just got to wipe the threads of my batteries: it can get really filthy in there! I used a toothpick wrapped in a paper towel. I guess you could get a more thorough clean by adding some alcohol. I just wanted to share this for those who are forgetful like me and need a reminder

    provari ?

I have a regular-sized provari that i got recently (I haven't tried the mini). I have to say the size (without the extension) took me a while to adjust to: with an ego-style batteries, I would generally put my pinky under the battery when holding it. I can't do that with the Provari—it's not...

Low/High resistance, at equal wattage: what's the difference?

Thank you all for your answers! I gave me a better grasp of the theory; now back to vaping! I just got a provari, and am experimenting with the Phoenix rebuildable (BTW, using hildicat's...

    Phoenix/Chalice Vertical Cotton Wick Setup

Here is my first try (1,8-9 ohms): Also opened (ever so slightly!) the air hole: it gives a much smoother throat hit.

Low/High resistance, at equal wattage: what's the difference?

Interesting (and, yes, totally counter intuitive!). Thanks!

Low/High resistance, at equal wattage: what's the difference?

I was wondering: what is the difference between a low and high resistance atty (or carto, or whatever), at the same wattage? In other words, if the only difference is that the same wattage can be achieved with lower voltage for LR attys, then LR attys would seem to be the way to go in terms of...

    hi, i'm a vapoholic!

A quick video by Steeljan about refilling cartos here: VOLT - Cartomizer FILL & REFILL demonstration - Smokeless Image - YouTube A slightly more advanced one, with the taryn spin! (that's the method I personally use): How to fill a cartomizer with the condom fill and spin - YouTube (by Mr...

    Safe Vaping Power Chart?

I just got myself a variable voltage PV (Ego Twist). I saw a chart once on ECF (Safe Vaping Power Chart), and I would like to get it now, but, for the life of me, I can't find it now (or only unreadable thumbnail size). Anyone knows where it is? Please help

    What's in the flavours?

Organic flavors seems a promising choice: I would be mostly wary of chemicals (solvents, etc.) so a guarantee that there are none is reassuring. And I checked the NF website: their selection looks amazing. I think I'll go DIY soon  Flavorless sounds also intersting (and cheap!). I'll...

How to make a hole in the X2 Passthrough Cone ???

Help needed: I just got the SI X2 battery. Works great, but it looks slicker with the cone. Problem: I'd like to dig a hole to get better air flow. How is it done? I tried hammer a hole using a nail, but it was not very successful: I made a hole, but the cartos wouldn't pass through the cone...
