Good point there. I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I guess it's just part of human nature to try and gain acceptance and standing in the world by simple association with whatever group. There's nothing wrong with social chat threads, but in the General E-smoking Discussion? Isn't there a better place on the forum to house social networking stuff? I don't know... but I see the community has spoken and does not share my sentiment. Okay, I can accept that.- Vego

Just askin'... 'cause being a basic block head, I honestly don't get it. Granted, just because I don't get it doesn't mean it's wrong, so perhaps somebody could explain the appeal of cordoning off one age group from another. It stinks of unnesessary segregation to me. My workplace is having a 'stop smoking' seminar, and promoting NRT. Should I attend to promote vaping?
I say go for it. You'll be doing the vaping community proud, and if you can get even 1 person to stop putting the hundreds of toxins from cigs into their body with your efforts, you'll have done a wonderful, humane thing.- Vego

I think it's a smart move getting a top of the line PV early in your vaping career. You'll save money in the long run. Congrats! The ohms law calculator is very handy for getting an overview of watts and amps with your various volt and resistance setups... if that interests you. Ohm's Law...- Vego

Considering the price of the LT has probably dropped, and may apply to the situation now, I can forgive the overstatement of the above quote as it pertains to my experience. When I bought my LT, it was $70. $179 for the Provari + endcap is only a bit more than 2x the price. -

I hear you, but Volcano never even answered me when I inquired about getting the advertised battery instead of the clone they sent me. Also, it does work, it just under performs, and I'm guessing Volcano would never send me a new one just because I can't detect sublte heat/th/vapor differences... -

That may very well be, which I've stipulated above. If it is bad, it certainly doesn't help LT's case in that now, not only is LT performance brought to issue, but also the quality control. And I'll never get my money back now, or a replacement... it's too late. -

I have an Aero Bridgeless atty I bought awhile ago from Avidvaper that is LR 1.5ohm rated. It actually meters at 1.2ohm. It's a battery drainer for sure, but oh how wonderfully warm and tasty it vapes on my REO Mini, which is the only device I'll use it on. -
