A short should not be an issue with a non metallic wick. As long as your coils are not touching the cap or droopimg down onto the base. With a non metallic wick the only short your going to get would be issues with the positive post shorting before the coil in which case you won't be getting...
Looking for a clone/cheap rba that has a screw/Allen positive post connection. Sick and tired of using the stupid little nuts with my giant fingers. Anybody know where to find one that does not have these nuts?
I thought about doing that to mine a couple weeks ago but realized my screw doesn't go all the way down enough to completely block the hole. I was totally bummed out.
discount vapers has a large rebuildables section with nothing for 66$. I picked up my aga from them and am now waiting for their cobra clone to come back in stock to give that one a try. so far they have the best selection I've seen.
I also had this problem with my aga and I think now after a few weeks of messing around with it I figured it out. the seam of the wick needs to face the center post for some reason. The bottom coil needs to stay as close to the bottom surface as possible until it makes contact with the wick...
I recently picked up a ngp touch out of the classified section. Was pretty stoked to pick up a hybrid setup for a more solid device overall. Unwrapped it and made a good mesh wick and nice low res coil. first try up and running perfectly. filled tank and EVERY vape tastes like a cheap cigar...
hey guys I'm looking for a limeade flavor juice. I have tried the frozen lime drop from pinkspot but find it slightly chemically tasting after a few days. I prefer higher vg juices. The problem I keep running into is everything in a limey flavor I find seems to be a mix of lemon lime or lime...
awesome. seems I'm not the only one whose thought about this. I meant exactly grip tape from a skateboard. works amazingly well and doesn't retain any juices or fluids. While it may give you some rough hands for me it doesn't matter as their rough already anyways lol. Innertube is a great...
So I have a couple of devices that I like and hate at the same time. A lava tube mini, an ego twist, and a smok telescope. All of which work flawlessly with one exception. I hate the fact that they all have no texture to them and become extremely slick throughout the day. Even more so with...
hmmmm this seem like a nice quick swapping and recoiling idea. I wonder if when using the 7x7 rope istead of using mesh we topped it with a nextel sleeve like I see in other threads. seems we would get the same wicking and easy swapping ability without the cromium hazard as the nextel acts...
go to pep boys and buy some metal tape. tape inside of cap over hole. Heat a little bit with a lighter and run something smooth and round over it to get a good smooth surface. let it sit and cool for a couple hours and give the tape a chance to really stick. use a sewing needle of various...
I'm definetly going to give this stuff a try... I don't really want to order 10 feet worth though lol that might be a little ridiculous considering it would probably last me a few years. I think maybe I'll see what ebay has to offer for shorter lengths.
It's a little more than an L lol. I've had it going now all day fairly well. Only had to adjust a little bit once after the tank ran dry. I think I might give a thicker wire a try tomorrow as my meat hammers are not well suited for the thin stuff. I prefer low ohm anyways. I bought a ngp...
