    4V is just fine for 2.4 ohm, so its the coil head i protank2. Is it authentic? When did you buy it and starting using it? Most probably is bad coil( 1 wrap is too large and doesnt provide contact to silica). I also recently got 1.5 and 1.8 ohm bad authentic coils in kangertech box. Kanger...

    Kanger Protank 2 is the worst tank i have ever used

    So its true, latest protank1&2 authentic heads are bad. Probably not all, but many. 1.5 ohm and 2.5 ohm 1 wrap/starting wrap in coil is so too big and glows/burns while fired/used. Manufacturing process while assembling went bad i guess.

    Interesting. I am using magnets in my Nemy. No problems with overheating or whatsoever. Protank2 is slightly larger than protank1 and there is a kick in my mech. Nemy w/o kick and with 18350 battery is only a little over 6cm long! :vapor:

    Bad head! Have same problems with brand new authentic heads... One wrap is slightly bigger and it gloves when fired and burns the flavor.

    Thats because the coil is badly wraped. One wrap is larger and it doesnt provide good contact to the silica and at that spot the wire gloves red and that gives you a burnt taste. Proper coil (filled with silica/cotton and soaked in liquid) should never glow red! Just take the cap of the head...

    Trying to decide between 2 beginner RBAs

    I have rsst for 5 months now.I tried ss mesh, silica and cotton. Its easy to build but the performance is so so. Isnt bad at all but i dont get that full nice flavor which i think i should. Vapor production is good! Maybe kayfun lite+ clone?? I guess its better than genesis style attys.

    Word! Well i get no gurgling because i often clean the middle hole with ear bud stick. Leaking? Just some tiny, micro drops on center pin, really nothing bad. I can say that the protank1 hits a little more/better than protank2, airflow... Both are great and simple clearos and i use them daily...

    I am recoiling my protanks 1&2 with cotton at about 1.5ohm. I get great vape from such simple coils!! :) Rsst/Cobra genesis arent that good most of the time... Still waiting for kayfun 3.1. I bet its gonna be a whole new level of vaping experience.
