    What a funny thread! :D Most cheap liquids are bad, but not all. Many Liqua flavors are good (apple, strawberry, cola, citrus mix... they are not great but good and tasty enough). There is also a slight chance that you get bad/rotten/"damaged" liquid. I love V2 peach, vaped 200ml+ of it...

    Is there a big difference on Kanger Protank 2 & 3?

    Protank 3 is a quick answer of kanger to the dual coil heating units. You can use protank1&2 coils in the protank 3 so its backwards compatible. Rebuilding dual coil is almost impossible. Not worth the hassle imo.

    About good 1 mm from the bottom not more. You dont want to lift it too much because of chimney/top cap which can crush the coil when sealed.

    I use 1.6mm rod/steel nail for making a coil with 30 or 32 gauge kanthal. 4 or 5 wraps are 1.7ohm to 2.1 ohm. Before i trim the wire, after inserting grommet and pin, i lift the coil a little so its in the middle of the base and provides good airflow.

    Strange. Do you use original coil heads? Did you remove flavor wicks (silica on top of the coil)? Dont do that. Tank/glass is ok ? How much does it leak? Full drops? oO

    I meant replacing silica with cotton. For flavor wick i use half of 2mm silica, which i still have and it was meant for protank heads at first. Cotton is much better and cheaper, but i lasts a lot less. I recoil/replace stuff in head every week or even more often, it depends on how much i vape...

    fyi I rebuilded 30+ protank heads, with silica, ss mesh and mostly cotton and i always use 1mm silica on top of the wire and get micro drops at most on center pin and the airdraw is medium as a like it.

    I know the difference of burned rubber grommet and burned silica-glowing wire-hotspot. ;) Grommet usually dont burn with authentic kanger coils cause they have nr-r-nr wires.
