    Lehigh Valley?

I also saw that Lehigh Vape opened up... I plan to go today. :) I actually went to Moravian College, which is virtually right next to the store. The only problem will be finding a parking spot on Main Street, which (unless you're okay with walking a bit) can be a daunting task.

Smok Tech Magneto safety features and spares

I don't own a Magneto, so I can't comment on the spring, but safety fuses can be purchased at many different vendors. Smoktech VapeSafe Fuse This one is made by Smoktech, so I'm assuming it will fit the Magneto fine. :-)

"Blowing clouds" and sub ohm vaping... Why?

While that stuff isn't exactly differential calculus, I know people my own age that can't solve a basic algebraic equation, let alone do arithmetic in their head at a cash register. There are going to be many who are directed there, get frustrated at not understanding it, and wrap those coils...

"Blowing clouds" and sub ohm vaping... Why?

Oh, absolutely. I used to smoke full favor Pall Malls, and sometimes unfiltered Pall Malls. I've found a 0.8 ohm coil (both single and dual) at the same voltages makes my perfect vape. This is very true, regardless of the battery. But there are always those people who will venture into the...

"Blowing clouds" and sub ohm vaping... Why?

I actually completely agree with this. It is fun, and blowing a huge cloud is oddly pleasurable. I don't understand why sub-ohm people are being made out to be reckless or pushing e-cigs to their breaking point... the bottom line is, if you know what you're doing, it's no more dangerous vaping...

    A very quick question...

Yeah, I didn't think about that. I have one AW IMR 18650... I just don't like having to rest my Reo while it charges. Looks like RTD is gettin' some of my money today too!

    A very quick question...

Oh yeah, forgot about those. Do you think they could work as an alf-hassed button top?

    A very quick question...

Hello my friends! I've got a Reomizer 2.0 snugly in my cart over at Reos Mods, and I have a quick question before I check out. I saw on the site "Magnets Metal Reos", and I'm curious what these are for. What I'm guessing these are for are batteries, and I'm wondering if these can make a flat...

    Short in my Mech Mod/RDA

Helios looks fine, man. Just make sure none of the coils (except where you connect them) are touching the positive or negative posts. I usually have to adjust my coils so they're not touching, but it looks like yours is vaping well. Perhaps the Zmax is just reading 0.3 ohms as a short? Try to...

    Short in my Mech Mod/RDA

I remember when VHO used a similar setup for the Titan, with the o-ring as an insulator, there were reports of misfires. But the only weak link I can see is possibly that spring. What people seem to forget is that the spring is part of the circuit; it connects the body of the mod to the...

    Short in my Mech Mod/RDA

I'm not trying to dispute what dripaholic has said, but all the specs I've found on the GMS (and all the pictures), it seems that the button is brass. But either way, that's a good point - clean and Noalox the point where the silver meets the button. Oh, and I don't recommend using Brasso...

    Short in my Mech Mod/RDA

About the only thing you can do is give the mod a good cleaning... take everything apart (and I mean everything, switch and all) and a cheap toothbrush and go to town with some mild detergent. Reassemble. If you're motivated, you could apply some Noalox to the threads and put a little dab on...

    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

Something like a short on a genesis isn't really a big deal. It's the hard shorts you have to be careful of, and that would happen if the wrapper on your battery tore and the body of the mod came into contact with the metal body of the battery. Also if one of the insulators (negative, positive...

    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

Depends what you're vaping, I think. Generally it's a metallic taste. I've never had a short while using silica, though. A better indication would be if the button (or the mod itself) starts warming up.

    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

Nice! A Helios is my all day vape... and I want to order a backup pretty soon. On my original Galileo, I sometimes have to push up and a bit on the side for it to really hit. It's not faulty or anything, it's just a byproduct of the design.

    Titan V 1.5 2 tone or Sentinal V4 SS

My Titan, combined with my Helios, is my all-day vape. I've owned many mods, both cheap and high-end, and nothing hits like the Titan. I've never owned a Sentinel, but I'll tell you I judge every mod I own against the Titan, and the Titan has always won. Now here you're also comparing an...

Took the plunge and now drinking the Kool-Aid

After you get a little experience under your belt, try out a rebuildable... you just might get some nighttime calls from your mech you'll want to hide from your Provari. ;)

    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

Hmmm... since you're getting a new one I guess it doesn't matter, but the only other thing I can think about (except just a faulty button) is that the spring somehow misaligns and throws the pin off. I've had that happen on my Galileo a few times. Either way, I hope the new one works out for ya!

    GMS - Silver Pin Issue

I'm not trolling about the pins. As far as the misfire issue goes, can you disassemble the button? The fact that it started out fine makes me wonder if the button and firing pin are one solid piece or if something in the button is unscrewing itself or needs to be pressed back into place. I did...

Mechs and batt life? New to mechs...

Absolutely. A mod with a low voltage drop helps also. If you're losing 0.3 volts before you even start, obviously you'll notice that dropoff much sooner than desired. My Titan spoils me in that regard.
