I've had this happen, sometimes frequently with my Vamo 5, SVD, and 134. It's never occurred with my MVP 2, or Coolfire II.

A leaking atty caused juice to get in the contact area of the fire button on my Vamo 5. Prior to the leak it seemed to turn itself off from time to time which got worse as time went on.
