    FWIW: 27awg, 1/16id, 0.8 ohm, cotton wicked micro and I get 3 good drags per squonk.

    Running a 0.9 ohm coil on a mechanical Reo is double the the 8.5-9 watts you're running on your vv/vw setup. My best guess without seeing pics is either a bad connection with massive voltage drop or a subpar build on your rda. If you could upload some pics that would help everyone here...

    Unfortunately, with all the winter weather recently, USPS snafu's are at an all time high. I don't think it's a lot of losses so much as missed scans and tie-ups. Hope it gets there soon brother.

    $1/foot? Someone is ripping you off big time. Order from temco: you could've gotten about 25' for the same price... live and learn. Not a bad first attempt at all, but could definitely use some tightening up. Dry fire it a few times and squeeze with tweezers/pliers to get all the coils...

    That would've been my suggestion as well. When I first got my grand, I noticed I would shift the battery with my thumb when squonking sometimes and just wanted to tighten that up a bit. Wrapped some tape around the battery, which snugged that up and stopped any play in the door. Win-win.
