Old school?? Like an analog meter? I have 2 of those but can't read anywhere close to the accuracy for these coils? Well, one is really a VTVM, Vaccum Tube Volt Meter. Your eyes must be good as a hawk.....hawk sauce. Time to change the atty. -

With 6 wraps of 32 ga what resistance are you getting? Somewhere around 2.4-2.6 ohms? Edit to add: I wrapped 3/4 of 32 gauge around 4 1mm sylica and it worked out to 1.8 ohms. -

That's my 2nd favo...3rd...no 2nd favorite juice. I put some hawk sauce in a Protank and it had a slight plastic taste, so I put the same juice in a IGO and its wonderful...I blamed the Protank and soaked the head in vodka...hope that gets rid of that plastic taste. -

You can but the problem is that you'll need more wraps to get to your target resistance. I'm guessing but I think a 6 or 7 wrap coil might only be around 1.6-1.8 ohms. If your target is 2.0 or greater you might need 8 wraps. And then the question is will X wraps fit in the space allotted? Do... -

Shoot, and I was planning on going to that one. I could have used more hawk sauce & thug juice. Yesterday morning I went through about 10 ml of hawk sauce using a dripping atty no less. And they are OOS of both hawk sauce & thug juice -

I'm sorry for all y'all's losses. My dad died when he was 56 and now every time I hear taps I get kinda choked up. They played taps at his funeral. Even thinking about taps makes me think of his funeral and that was in 1986. -

Are you talking about a dripper or tank Drippers: check out discount vapors. They have an A7 that already has a coil built that you can you as a reference when you want to rebuild it. They have some others that are only $8 or $9 so they are pretty cheap. These will mostly use silica, cotton...
