I'm not really worried about not being able to change batteries. I have an rDNA 30 and IPV Mini 30w for that. The only reason I never got the DNA 30 is because of the 1300mAh battery. This LG 2500mAh should be fine.
No not yet. But I do have a new base on the way from my seller. Not that I think that could have anything to do with it. I am gonna go ahead and replace #16 o-ring.
Just to confirm. The #16 is an 11mm i.d. x 1.5 cs correct???
Very much so. This is an ebay seller. I have bought from them in the past. But they have been uber helpful. First with getting me the corrected top cap and now this. I can't even use mine right now because of the leaking from the 510 pin. I am gonna pick up some of the #16 o-rings.
OK I have a little update. I have been in contact with my seller again. They confirmed that the newest shipments do have the base that will disassemble. They are sending me out the new base and a pre-paid label to send mine back. Hopefully this will do the trick.
Vaporshark has just released a baby version of the rDNA 40. Somehow they squeezed a full size 18650 in that body. Not user replaceable though. I may consider this one. Even though I really don't want a 40w device.
Vapor Shark DNA (40W Version)
When the original Vapor Shark DNA was released...
That honestly is getting into a technical area that I am not 100% comfortable answering. I would rather give you that answer than to try to wing it. But I am sure someone that is more into the technical aspects that can give you a proper answer will chime in. I get a little confused myself with...
Thanks.
I was kinda hoping to grab one for the price that VS dropped them down to for the holidays. Right around $135. VK still have them priced at the original MSRP of $170. I have a rDNA 30 but would really like a second one.
Oh and VK is very reliable. I have dealt with them before without...
Many of the higher wattage mods will allow you to use anything you want. For example a Sigelei 100w will fire down to a .2Ω. So if you are running a .2Ω at 75w you will only be pushing 3.87v. If you want to run a full 4.2v it is still only 88w. And that is pulling 21A. Still below the threshold...
Yeah that whole onboard charging thing is a waste of time gimmick IMO. Most people who are gonna be out and about away from a charging port are gonna have their mod and phone charged. And aren't gonna want to risk killing their mod battery and being vapeless just to charge their phone.
Anyone know if it still possible to pick up a VS rDNA 30 brand new. They are not listed on the VS site anymore. Tried calling a few of their stores but no luck. They have 19 total stores and really don't wanna call every one.
I wish I shared yours and others opinions on the MVP. I had two at one time. My experience was one dying after 6 weeks. Got it replaced under warranty and sold it before opening it. And my other had miserable battery life after the first month.

Probably end up being some sort of proprietary cells. But I am sure someone will find a way. Can't see it being a popular modification as this one won't really be a hot seller.

Feel the same way. They missed the bus for sure. Too much competition that are really much better options. And cheaper. Price point for the MVP 3.0 should be $45 max. You can get the Sigelei Mini 30w and IPV Mini for under $45.
