Congrats. I thought life was good when I bought an MVP. Little did I know what I was missing out on. As far as pocket carry unless you carry stuff in your pocket that might scratch, it will be fine as it is. If you want you could always get a wrap, or leather sleeve. -

Gato has a good point. Check out the end caps. My first blem had a few small scratches on the inside by the spring that were circled with magic marker. -

I didn't add blue with my satin silvers. But that is because I was buying satin silver, especially my second one a blem, to keep the cost down. The Gunmetal will be a "cost be damned" purchase so why not go all out. -
