    Have a look at the center post on the battery to see if it has been pushed down. If it looks to be low then get a toothpick and very carefully prey the post back up, this is a very very small adjustment, then check it on the charger again. This center post thing can also happen to your charger...

    I gather you are asking about the version number? They are the same as far as I know, some vendors call them 3.0 when they are really 2.5. The heads should be the same cost for either version. Check other vendors.....see what prices they have.
