What I would do is set it to 6 watts to start, then increase it if you need to in order to achieve the vape quality you prefer. If you get a burnt taste or a dry hit drop it down a notch. It's really all personal preference.
Variable wattage essentially means that you can forget about having to do the calculations for voltage output with each specific coil resistance. No matter what the resistance of the coil is that you attach to your mod, the mod calculates the proper voltage to achieve a similar vape experience...
I'm not usually a fan of bananas at all, but I'm really enjoying Bananas Gone Nuts from Mt. Baker Vapor. It tastes almost exactly like the banana nut bread my mother used to bake when I was a kid.
If you use the code "vaporfrombaker" you can get 10% off your order.
I also have some Gorilla...
I would suggest setting it to wattage mode and starting at 6 watts. Increase the wattage until you get the vape you are looking for.
Personally I'm almost always in the 7.5 to 8 watts range; for some people that's too low, for others it's too high. You just need to experiment.
I actually use the eGo beauty ring that came with my Protank (1) on my VAMO with the removable collar on it as well. I loosen the beauty ring just enough so that it is just above the height of the 510 connection, so when I screw in an RDA or my Protank the beauty ring actually locks the tank in...
If it mounts flush on the SID It probably wouldn't serve much of a purpose, at least that's my guess. The 510 connection on my VAMO V3 is actually raised up above the collar so it's not possible to flush mount, so I'm considering buying one of those support pieces.
Feeding it while holding it upside down would probably be fine for cartomizers, where the polyfill will absorb the liquid when you feed it (unless it feeds into the center air tube). If you were using a dripping atty, turning it upside down and squeezing the bottle would result in high dry...
I wouldn't store them upside down. I'm hoping an employee at a brick and mortar didn't tell you that. Not only will you get condensation leaking from the mouthpiece onto your table or in your pocket, but having the air bubble in the tank surrounding the wicks for extended periods is just...
I have both a Protank and EVODs and I really like them both. Personally I think for an on-the-go setup on a battery like an eGo Twist or an iTaste VV V3 the EVOD is a little better. It does only hold 1.5ml of eliquid, but it's light and isn't going to shatter if it falls out of your pocket...
Have you considered buying one of those drip tips that is at an angle? That might help some with leakage when she is vaping while lying down. Just a thought since you are both happy with the RSST.
Or maybe something like this? Chrome 510/901 Angled Drip Tip Adapter Can't really go wrong for $3.
That is a good idea. Does anyone have one of these and the VAMO V3? I'm wondering if the support fits inside the removable collar on top of it. If it did it wouldn't really take away from the aesthetics of the VAMO at all.
