Ignoring the shoddy phone pix...
* This setup here came out to 0.9Ω...
* 10 wraps of 28GA nichrome on each side...
* Pure cotton for the wicks...
* Grumpy's Hooch at 50/50 ratio and 18mg...
* Got myself dizzy on the very first drag...
* Thing is a fog machine.
Exactly as Barton said... The IGO-Ls suffer from that a bit... If you over tighten the dripper onto a device and push the center pin flush to the threads; it may cause it to not fire. People that own Vamos will find this out when they go to test the resistance on their fresh coil and it reads...
Yup... This thread has introduced me to a bunch of very good artists/songs and brought me back to others that I had long forgotten.

Black Country Communion - Cold
I got my 30ml bottle of 50/50 - 18mg Hooch a couple days ago and I'm afraid I won't be able to steep it.... It may just be me, but I just can't put it down... It tastes of coffee with nutty undertones... Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so... All in all; incredible vape... I find myself vaping it...
Thing vapes like crazy...
I have a second IGO-L with a single coil at 14 wraps of 28 GA nichrome (also 1Ω) and though it heats up faster than the dualie; this new one just fogs up my room in no time at all... :) and the vape is warmer too.
As for the puppy... That's an old pic... She's gone...

- Remove top cap and install your atty/dripper/tank of choice.
- Adjust the top cap's center pin so that it makes contact with...
Heh. 300 feet of wire just arrived at my doorstep today. Along with a Nemesis and some NCR18650PD batteries... I'm chomping at the bits to go and get crazy with some fancy coils, but my 1Ω setup (I hadn't been able to run it since it triggered the Vamos OCP circuits) is keeping me quite busy...
I've only been vaping since December and like most everyone that comes into this world; I started with the "cig-a-like" little sticks.
That lasted for about a month. I couldn't take the short battery life, the crappy flavor, etc.
From there I thought about going to an eGo, but then read about...
Depending onw what you're using as wick material.
Cotton:
- Make the coil on a drill tip first.
-- 1/16 drill tip is ~1.58mm in diameter
-- 5/64 drill tip is ~1.99mm in diameter
-- 3/32 drill tip is ~2.38mm in diameter
- Install the Coil:
-- Don't worry about wick yet.
-- Just make...
