    You are pretty much stuck with the DNA20, unless you buy the chip and put it on another device. Unfortunately, not many of us can do the electronic work involved with installing a new chip on another device.

    AW IMR 18350s are probably the safest. I use Efests too. The IMR batteries are safer chemistry, meaning they won't totally blow up in a case of extreme failure. If you are really concerned with safety, you can get a vapesafe.

    I would recommend one of the Kayfun clones from Fasttech. They are not much more difficult to set up than a dripper and have phenomenal flavor/vapor production.

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I will try a micro coil filled with strands of silica! I am not giving up on my Reo by any means. I know that the Reo and the RM2 is a great combo. For whatever reason, it just isnt giving me much of a vape. It is really hot, but not much vapor.

    The Vamo is kind of big. I have heard that the above device has some issues with 510 connections. If you are gonna get a box mod, you should go for the MVP 2. It has a smaller cousin, the iTaste Vv/VW 3, which has all of the same features. Both are available on Fasttech.

    Basically Efest, AW, or Panasonic Hybrids are good batteries to start off with. The VTR is a regulated mod, so it has protection in it. It will only work with unprotected batteries. It is kind of scary, the whole unprotected thing, which is why vaping has switched to the above mentioned batteries.

    Do you have a multimeter? After you tie one end end NR wire to your Kanthal, you can put one end of the multimeter where the two are joined. Put the other part of the multimeter to the other end of the Kanthal. Cut the Kanthal wire to where you want the resistance.

    Did you wash out your igo-l before you used it? With all RBAs, you need to give it a good rinsing or more before use. As for the taste, i suspect it is a matter of using the pre-built coil that is your problem. I build just normal coils and I get awesome flavor.

    As for the OP, the vape from the Ithaka clones I have are very similar to the KFL. The whole NR/R wire thing really is not a big deal after a few builds. You should definitely check out one of the clones. They are nice.

    Troubleshooting my first genny build

    I have just recently started being able to get SS mesh to work right. I know this is not scientific or anything, but I've been able to kind of gauge whether my genesis builds are ready to be filled up with juice when the SS mesh does not smell like burning nastiness when I fire the device.

    The Nautilus and the Terminator C mentioned above are the same thing. I don't know what got them different names.
