I DIY these days but I am a huge Alice in Vapeland fan. They have a great sampler pack that is reasonably priced. Do note, however, that most of their flavors are on the subtle side of things, but this isn't a bad thing. AiV taught me that less can be more.
Why do you want big clouds? I have found that even the most basic setup yields more than enough vapor and nicotine. Even without trying I can fog a room up. What's the point?

I started DIY about 2 months ago. We still have some high-end vendor juice about, but my wife won't vape it. She says my juice is better and she won't vape anything else. I take this as a great compliment.
Walmart Fins aren't bad. Not my first choice, I DIY and rebuild these days, but it will get you through. As the blue tiger said, they are 510 threaded.

It is certainly possible, but is more complicated. A wick + resistance wire is cheap and works well. Not saying we might not see some disruptive tech emerge, but the current approach works well enough.
