That might be the case but I don't think so. My guess is that (some) unbranded eGo's are built with unsuitable batteries. They often explode while charging which tells me that they are lacking proper protection. They got over-discharge and then when you charge em up, they vent. They probably...
It happens a least once per 2 weeks in the news. The press loves it, it makes for excellent titles: "Ecig explodes in womens face! Husband furious, women won't shut up about it, husband commits suicide."
A quick google image search is enough to show that it is always the same kind of ecigs that...
What I've noticed when I give my PV to smokers is that they are apprehensive. This makes them drag on the atty very slowly... They give it a very weak pull which means that they are not supplying enough airflow to the coil, and that gives them a harsh and scratchy hit with very little vapor...
I wouldn't use that battery any more, that is a sign of battery fatigue... A freshly charged battery should show exactly 4.2 volts.
I highly recommend that you get rid of it.
What kind of setup are you running?
And what kind of battery is it?
You have great intuition. Rotating your batteries evenly is the way to go.
Most mods (except mechanicals) will shut down when the battery reaches 3.2 ~ 3.1 volts.
Li-ion batteries, like the ones we use to vape cannot be discharge to 0 volts... If that happens the battery is destroyed and will...
Yes, most "intelligent" chargers will stop when the battery is "full" (4.2 volts)
It is always a good idea to keep an eye on the voltage of your battery when it is fresh out of the charger... see my comment above.
By "full discharge" I am pretty sure he means "Until the mod says the battery is dead" in which case won't hurt the battery.
But what every one said is right. You do not need to wait for your batt to be low to charge them... See Battery Memory and discharging your battery under 2.9ish volts is...
You can overcharge a battery but not in the way you are asking. If you have a really cheap charger that does not stop charging when your batt reaches 4.2 volts... You will end up with an over charged battery... And this means trouble (fire hazard trouble). If ever your MOD or volt meter etc...
Charge it fully... It's fine. (never discharge under 2.9ish volts) Get a battery case, they are cheap and your friend should have one... You should have one to actually so buy 2... never walk around with naked batteries in your pockets... Send them in an case in an envelope with bubble wrap and...
Don't let this thread hurt your heart... It was meant to have a conversation about some controversialish topic within our community. I think that only good can arise from challenging our points of view from inside the vaping community.
Let's have a vape Skarletkisses! :toast:
Out of curiosity, did you heard comments about cloud chasing specifically or general vaping?
I think that the antz are antz no matter what you are doing.
Let's take my "cloud-buddy" for example.
Give him a Provari and the best clearo available on the market and he'll go buy a pack of smokes 2 hours later.... Give him a mech and a 0.3Ω dual coil dripper and he's not smoking... I don't see a problem with that.
Again, as long as you are not an...
