Made sense to quit from NYC

Right on. You still went through a lot less wasted time and money than I did, and I still don't have a Provari. You definitely win. LOL

Made sense to quit from NYC

Welcome. I'm new also. Great bunch of people here, for sure. :) So, if I'm understanding correctly, you went from analogs straight to the Provari? You don't mess around! :thumb:

now that you vape, do you put it down?

I entirely agree. Vaping is like money, time, sex, booze, ammo, and freedom. One just can't have too much.

now that you vape, do you put it down?

I actually had to tune my nic down because I chain vape. I started at a mere 12mg, but due to chain vaping I was noticing odd heart rhythms, so I'm at 6mg now and that seems to have stopped the heartbeat issue. I do still have a bit of juice that's 12mg, but I'm being more careful of it and...

510, eGo, something else altogether - help me, please, quite smoking (again!)?

I keep telling myself that it will get cheaper than smoking. LOL (Actually, it has, but just a bit so far.) Indeed, for a lot of us it's as much a hobby as a habit because, hey, it's fun! I'm trying to use some restraint, but I'm fairly certain that VISA wants me to throw caution to the wind...

    help for a newbie please!!

I actually bought 2 crap kits before venturing out and finding the better stuff. My first bit was an eGo passthrough, a couple of SmokTech eGo dual-coil cartomizers, and a couple of small bottles of juice. That cost about half what I let go of for just one of the crap kits. If you...

Favorite Juice Flavor & E-Cig or Mod

I have a small array of eGo gear and a Maxi Rough Stack V2. I just added myself to the waiting list at Vapor Alley for a SS Vamo, which I think will be awesome. Ultimately, like a lot of other people, I'm going for the Provari; maybe in a month or so. (The habit of vaping is cost-effective...

the little things in life that change when you vape instead of smoke

No ashtray smell, no ashes to clean up. Breathing is pretty awesome. A couple of nights ago I fell asleep with my PV in my hand, and wow, no burn holes anywhere.

    Newbie and proud of it

Congrats and welcome, Boo. I'm right there with ya on a couple of levels. Also a n00b and have made vaping every bit as much a hobby as a habit. The researching, tinkering, and experimenting are at least half of the fun. :)

    I cracked :(

Don't beat yourself up over it too much. I was a "serial quitter" so I know this one all too well. I'm not saying that I'll never do the same, either. I have a bit of a "fear" now that I might run out of something to vape simply because analogs are so much easier to get in a crisis situation...

    Hot juice in eye!

Dang, that had to suck. Ouch. To my own surprise, I've not done this one yet. Perhaps it's just a habit from being an EDC handgun guy to not look down the business end of things like that.

cartos, clearomizers, atomizers....? Which do you use?

Boge dual-coil cartos, DCTs, and for dripping, 510 (single- and dual-coil) and a 306. I've never tried a clearo. I'm finding that some flavours rock when dripping or in a tank, but once I put them in a carto they taste lame, even though they still produce good vapor. Not all flavours, just...

now that you vape, do you put it down?

Total chain vaper here, too. I was a chain smoker, so this doesn't surprise me. At work is the only time I really can't chain vape, which is cool, because I couldn't smoke in the shop at all. It really is hard to put a PV down, though, at least for me.

New Penn State ecig online survey

I just finished it as well. As a "serial quitter" I like to make it known that vaping is the answer that a lot of people are looking for to get off the killer analogs.

    18650 Batteries

I was at Batteries+ here in The Haute just a bit ago for just that purpose. No luck on either of those items.

What are you waiting for in the mail?

A new charger, which is now desperately needed. :(

    PG, VG or 50/50 blend?

I've been using 100% VG for the thick vapor, but I'm thinking of trying some 50/50 because, honestly, I'm finding that vaping in the car dirties the interior glass as quickly as smoking does. Would this make a difference? (Yes, I'm a n00b, and also too lazy to clean my interior glass all the...

    Anybody prefer dripping?

No, these are atomizers without the polyfill. You drip the juice directly into it (3 drops) and vape away. I'm a n00b, too, and have been doing this for a few weeks now. Good stuff.
