I've read about certain juices like cinnamon, honeysuckle etc cracking tanks and melting drip tips or at least weakening them significantly.
What is your tip made of and what juices are you vaping?
If you like orange creamsicles get the Orange Cream (TFA). Mix at 15% plus 2% EM (Cotton Candy) hot water bath and a good shake and it's a yummy vape right away.:vapor:
Wondering what that .5% nic level means. .5% of what? per gram? Maybe you ended up with a much higher concentration of nic than you'd think?
Perhaps this could confirm that and prevent you from giving up on what could be a good thing. It may just need to be diluted ?
Nicotine Test Kit
This was my understanding of what the OP meant since she stated in her first post she "tried" dry hitting. Nobody "tries" to get a dry hit.
When filling a carto tank with a new carto it is common to block the air hole at the battery connection and suck briefly through the drip tip to prime the...
Dry hitting is usually done for carto tanks to help saturate the filler material. Not recommended for clearos with a wick. You could flood the coil and get the dreaded gurgle gurgle.
Do you do dry burns to clean the coil? Your 3.3 v battery will drop close to 3v after some use so even a 1.8 ohm coil will still put you at 5 watts, gunking up your coil. Rinsing won't get it off.
The 2.2 ohm head at 3.3 volts would be just under 5 watts. How is your vapor production? If weak, your coil may not be getting hot enough to vaporize all the juice properly which leads to a quick buildup of gunk on the coil = nasty flavor and burnt coils
1 ml is 1/1000 of a liter
18 mg(in 1 ml) divided by 1000 = .018 = 1.8%
Expressed as a percentage (based on 100) you are reducing the fraction. 18/1000 divided by 10/10 = 1.8/100 or 1.8%
To convert mg/ml to percent move the decimal one place to the left. 18 mg/ml = 1.8%
To convert percent to...
10/90 may cause wicking issues whether you twirl or not. If you get dry hits try cutting small v notches on the bottom of the silicon cap on each side just above the wick. Short hard puffs without firing the coil can also help draw juice into the coil.
If you do have wicking problems and these...
Thanks Hoosier. Read the blogs. So when the initial mix smells "right" it is often already over flavored? Hmmmmm interesting.
Nice list on the TFA flavoring thread for suggested percentages. Coffee wasn't listed though :(
Don't know about the calculator but I had the same problem not being able to do paragraphs when starting a new thread.
If you click on the AA at the top left of the toolbar that fixes that problem. There's 2 sets of AA's. Click the one to the far left, not the one that has the red X
I dove into DIY head first, no looking back now. Put 3-120 ml glass bottles of 60 mg nic in vacuum sealed bags in the freezer, one more vacuum sealed in the closet and 1 unsealed for immediate use, along with about 40 flavors.
Most are TFA flavors with a few FA thrown in. I've had a few...
I've noticed that if I fill my mini vivis above where the wicks enter the center tube that the coil can get too wet and it will gurgle, have poor vapor and nasty harsh taste. It straightens out pretty quick after taking a few pulls with the voltage jacked up to burn off the excess.
They can be...
Part of your coil looked nice and shiny like it wasn't contacting the wick toward the bottom half. The upper half looked like it had more juice on it. Just a thought, may just have been the lighting in the video.
I don't think you have to worry about draining 2 18350 batteries unless you...
It seems to be a stretch to think such a minute amount of vg or pg that never sees your digestive tract could be the cause. Please see a physician immediately and let us know how you make out.
Welcome Amster Dan. It is fun and almost like a free hobby when you think about all the money you're not spending on cigs, even more so if you DIY your own juice for like $3 per 30 ml :)
It would take roughly 3.66" of 32 awg in your coil to get 4 ohms so I'm thinking a bad connection either at the wire terminals or where the T2 threads into your Vamo. I've read of several products that can have the center post in a carto or clearo be pushed in if threaded too far on to the...
What diameter wire are you using? Thicker wire takes longer to heat up which may explain the lack of vapor at lower settings and better vapor when you jacked it up to 10 watts. Just a thought.
