Given that you had one good puff then nothing there is a very good chance the coil is burned out. About the only way to know for sure is to test it with an ohm meter. I realize not everyone has an ohm meter but it's almost a necessity for vapors for basic testing. A basic unit that will check...- Errol

Lavatube v2.0 4 amp
Any VV unit I'm aware of will vape a single coil 2.5ohms carto at 4.5v, that's only 1.8amp and 8watts. The 3.6v is the average and the pulses are so rapid (I'm guessing milliseconds) that one is not going to feel the highs anymore than they are going to feel the lows on any VV unit other than... -

I was out to lunch on my last response to your comments. I was thinking of the max volts the V1.5 could handle on a 1.5ohm coil when in fact you are right. When set at 4.5v the YJ V1.5 3amp PV will only put out 3.6v. according to Busardo's review. A PBusardo Review - (not really a) LavaTube 1.5... -

All one has to do is experiment with different size V over the wick, starting small and enlarging it in steps. If it doesn't work out just rotate the cap so the V isn't over the wick. Errol- Errol

Congratulations Deb, you deserve it. If your SS PV has the red button that means it's an L-Rider and it doesn't have the ability to read your vaporizer ohms. Reading ohms is a feature of the Young June V1.5. Errol -

Your best bet is to buy the least expensive manual battery you can find for the express purpose of doing your dry burns as it is essential to getting vaporizers back to peak performance. I have some cigarette size batteries from my original kit that I use sometimes to make sure I don't overpower...- Errol

I lost interest in the new Lavatube when they announced it would only be 3amp. I would have thought they would at least match Provari V2 at 3.5 amps. Guess I'm stuck with the knockoffs available with 3.5 to 4amp circuitry. Errol -

I'm sure you are right, I'm not up to speed on the various Genuine Lavatubes except that they are all 2.5amp. Would love to have the Lambo in a 3.5amp unit but doubt that will happen for a long time. :) Errol -

Pleased to hear all your goodies arrived in good shape. The "super snazzy" unit is the Echo DC Carto with a 901 thread. It is filled the same as any other carto. Forget how much it holds but I think in the range of 2.5 to 3ml. Fill it with a syringe slowly and let it sit and absorb for a few... -

I'm using some Ultra Fire batteries I bought for my Wow aka Woo, one of the nicest little PVs I have along with the twist for under 5v vaping. But back to the batteries, they probably don't last as long between charges as the name brands but they do work just fine. Errol -

I'm pretty sure the Apollo is a V1 2.5 amp PV. The V1.5 from a different manufacturer is a 3 amp PV. Errol
