    Doubtful, it would have to replace the whole base piece rather than the drip tray the 3.1 has. If they did, it would be far more expensive than the 3.1 hybrid adapter.

    To be honest with a plain steel "industrial" type design the scratches aren't so bad, I would be sadder if I had scratched the paint job on a Provari.

    Ticket answered, they will send me a steel base post, centre pin and screw to replace all the chromed brass bits in the 3.1 not just the broken bit. New 3.1s are confirmed as ALL steel bits. Good CS to correct the error. Well done FT.
