What nic level are you accustomed to? The higher the nic the stronger the hit. Even one mg can make a difference. Some flavorings can be on the smooth side as well. If you have any Koolada or menthol try adding 1-2% to improve the hit.

Are you using the original Stardusts? I haven't had that effect at all with my rebuildable Stardusts. I believe they improved the quality of plastic at some point. I'd like a definitive answer as well.
The Ego that broke yesterday was an Ego-C Upgrade. What protections do these have that the others don't?
I was wondering if I'm using too low a resistance, but they give me the hit I need. I'd hate to go back up to 2.4.

I'm fairly new to the Clearos world, mostly using 510/Ego-T/Ego-C gear. I've been loving the Vision Stardusts, which mostly work great. Except that I've lost three Ego batteries to them so far.
I've never had an Ego break in like two and a half years, except for the one I dropped onto concrete...
I use the caramel mixed with various other flavors at 2-5%. It comes across well. Also works at 5% on its own.
Vanilla Custard at 4-5% in a mix is plenty string as well.
All the juices are menthol or have menthol added. I'd start with making some menthol drops - you can make or buy from different retailers.
I'd also recommend trying some of the concentrated tobacco express menthols at ecigsupply as an easy starting point.
