    I have a black mini. I haven't had it very long but the finish seems to be pretty durable to me. Of course if you drop it on a hard surface it could damage it but I don't see it just wearing from normal use for a very long time.

    Removing Pro Tank Wick

    From my experience, removing one or both flavor wicks helps with flavor and vapor production but only very slightly. For a real upgrade, rebuild them with a cotton wick. When I started doing this the ProTanks really improved. I love them now.

    I am using "Cotton Square Brain Candle Wick #1/0" that I found on Amazon, along with Kanthal 32 AWG wire, also found on Amazon. I oxidize the wire with a regular lighter before wrapping the coil, and I'm wrapping with 5 wraps. Vaping at 3.7 or so volts. Works great!

    I had some clove from myfreedomsmokes. I thought it was good but the flavor was pretty strong. It was definitely clove though. If you like djarum blacks it's worth a try.

    I concur. I've been rebuilding my protanks with a square braid cotton wick and 32 kanthal. Vape production and flavor are both excellent. I didn't use the factory wicks/coils very long.

    Yes, they drop very little. I have used batteries a few weeks after charging and they held up well.
