    Hello All - New Here

Welcome to our obsession :) I tried a few premade fluids, but everyone's tastes seem to vary so much, I just started DIYing it. There are quite a few flavor sites. That way I can save money and mix the flavors with the taste and intensity that I want. An added benefit is the ability to fine...

    Christmas Vape?

flavor from "The Perfumer's apprentice" called "Gingerbread". Yup, exactly that :) I order mine from liberty-flights.com.

    Nicotine absorbtion

After smoking for 20 years, then switching to nico-gum, I've noticed that holding the vape in my mouth is quite effective. I usually blow it out my nose. I only inhale when my fluid is only VG and nicotine. If mouth hits aren't doing it for you, you may need stronger nicotine per ml. I'd...

    electronic cigarettes vs. tobacco cigarettes

All of the reasons you stated, plus I don't stink up my car, my friends house or any of my electronic equipment. Also Vaping is useful to fill the air with a nice aroma like jasmine, peppermint, gingerbread, etc. :)

    Provari Mini question

Think of your provari like a tough tool. Yes, it's pretty, but it's tough. :)

    The Pyrex SS hybrid Wick

Same here: I have an old russian set that I bought many years ago. Heavy and made of glass, had to find something lighter. Picked up a cheap "1 - 3.5x" lighted for 14 bucks on Amazon. The lens swivel is a bit "iffy" but otherwise very comfortable and light. Amazon.com: Professional Jeweler's...

You are most welcome! Just trying to give a little back to ECF :)

SmokTek Hyper SRT II (Nov 24 2012)

I'd planned on getting the Birkshire to tinker with, but then decided to make my own RBA from scratch. Should be a good learning experience, but I need better cutting tools for my lathe; stainless steel is tough stuff :) The Birkshire's tank is a bit smaller (3ml I think).

SmokTek Hyper SRT II (Nov 24 2012)

Overall it's a good RBA at a fair price. It's not made of steel, may not last a decade, but for 21 dollars you should get your money's worth out of it :)

SmokTek Hyper SRT II (Nov 24 2012)

zipthehuh: I enlarged a bit and checked if the wick would fit dry. then enlarged a bit more. I dont' recall the exact size of the hole Didn't think it necessary since it all depends on what each individual needs. Cotton swells when wet. damthisisfun: Yes, the whole top with the exception of the...

Need a good but sweet menthol...

I didn't have time to read every post but I think this flavor meets your menthol requirements. It's mild, smooth, slightly sweet with no bitterness: "Creme De Menthe" (The Perfumer's Apprentice aka: TPA) Hope that helps.

    Provari

Same here. I have an eGo 900mah passthrough that only sees use when I'm out working. At home it's only the Provari :) Nothing like a good movie, good flavor and good vape. Oh yeah.. tons of vape with a provari! I had to cut my nic in half since I got my provari. It's way more efficient on the...

    Provari

Wow! Your first PV and you jump head first with a top of the line! Respect! Pretty simple to use; there's a pdf on Provape.com explaining functions and usage. Only thing I'd add is a simple rule of thumb concerning which voltage to match to the ohm in your carto/tank: Whatever the ohm add 2...

SmokTek Hyper SRT II (Nov 24 2012)

Just spoke with my father who's been testing the RBA with no modifications. He's very pleased with it and wants to buy a second one. He says the original wicks/coils vape just fine, but he wanted to start experimenting. He's vaping on the same coil/wick setup I use without any modifications and...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

There is no comparison.. (hehe) Seriously, the Stardust has it's uses, but the SRT blows every Vision I own out of the water in terms of flavor. It's easier to draw by a factor of 4, holds 3 times the fluid, not to mention fits my provari much better. The stardust still gets use when I'm on the...

    Expiration????

Only thing I might add to the great info here is that you keep it in a cool, dark place. Heat will make it steep in ways you many not appreciate :)

    Order #106607

I feel your pain. I've done that. It's really easy to do in the e-cig market. I've never had this happen with this company, but my family member have. They're easy to work with and I'm sure they'll take good care of you.
