    Wouldn't be very exact with drops....if you fill your tank half way with the 8mg juice and then the other half straight VG, you would then have 4mg juice at about 60% VG / 40% PG. You could do the same in a bottle of course. ;)

    Not to seem like I'm dissing you, but there is something horribly wrong with your setup if your coil glows like that with a wet wick. You should get zero glow from the coils not matter what the wattage if it is wicking correctly. I am running a .45 ohm dual coil at 35 watts and just fired it...

    Well, that's a burnt wick for sure right there (you did say you used cotton). Maybe you're one of those folks who can't taste burnt wick/juice (I know one personally). If you're coils get red hot like that while you're vaping, you need to be more careful...you may be inhaling some very bad stuff.

    You must use silica or rayon wicks, right? This would never work for me since I'm strictly JOC. ;) Plus, there is no way anyone is lighting a cigarette off of my coil...that would seriously taint my flavor for at least a bit I would think.

    Just to be clear, she originally came to me and asked about vape gear (about 2 years ago) and has repeatedly asked me for advice on gear/juice ever since. I don't confront smokers and tell them they should be vaping instead....I agree, that would be out of line for sure.

    It was called the "bridge". Most folks yanked 'em out for dripping. Theoretically, it would keep the filler material in the "tip" so the coil wouldn't burn the filler.

This is what this forum is all about. :) I'm going to take the advice given here and stop making remarks on her "still smoking, eh?", "y'know, you could save a lot of money" and "dang, you STINK!". Of course these comments are always a bit tongue-in-cheek...

    I've given her some of the best of the best gear, a ton of DIY juice in just about every flavor of the rainbow and every nic level imaginable and she still won't give up the stinkies! She seems to enjoy the flavors and enjoys vaping, she just continues to smoke as well. It was so easy for me...
