This is the only 18350 tube reasonably price that I have seen recently. It is Pink, but only annodized so a little buffing and you can have a silver tube. Other than that that the tubes are either over priced or out of stock. Pink mule has some great stainless siam's mods tubes in stock, but...
I have an 18350 tube and batteries, but they are for short trips. unless they can get 1200 MAH or more they are really not a great performing battery size. I found i really am liking the size and performance of the 18500. I even found some 18500 1700 MAH batteries that have been working great...
You could use less wraps, but then you probably would impair the vaporizing of the liquid due to less coil to wick contact. I am not into mechanicals yet so I do not run anything that low.
I had an AGA-T with stainless mesh 1.0 ohm coil with 4/3 or 5/4 wraps with 32 gauge kanthal. How low are you trying to go. 28 gauge should be the way to go. I also have an EVIC so i can test my coils for resistance and re-wrap if they are too high.
I still have not gotten it to work the best yet, mostly due to not mastering building the coil yet. I have been plagued with a lot of bad taste lately. When I did have it working I had to take the full 10 seconds to get a good draw. That was on my internittently working 1.0 ohm coil (still...
