So, I've had my eVic for about 2 weeks now, and I need to get another battery. At the power levels the eVic operates at, can I get away with ICR batteries or would one prefer IMR batteries in every situation, given the choice?

Also, what problems exist(if any) with button top/flat top batteries? Trustfire? AW? Efest? Samsung? Panasonic?

Thanks all!

Though the AW & Efest IMR batteries r good, the best 18650 for our mods IMHO are the following two:

Top No.1: Panasonic NCR18650PD 18650 3.6V 2900mAH High Drain Hybrid Battery
Cheapest Find: $15.14 for a pack of 2 @ fasttech.com with Free Shipping Worldwide

Top No.2: Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650 3.7V 2250mAh High Drain Hybrid Battery
Cheapest Find: $9.52 for a pack of 2 @ fasttech.com with Free Shipping Worldwide (same as crxess advised above)

Get them and u'd thank me forever...

What about a 18350 ? Also what tube will fit for the 18350?

a) For an 18350 our best bet remains with AW or Efest IMR, as of now.
b) 18350 Tube? -Most mechanical mods r designed for 18350 bats & have telescoping/sections for higher sized bats. Vamo is designed for a single 18350 or two of them stacked or one 18650. Which mod do u possess?

I think we are in the EVIC sub forum, i do have the VAMO and i do have couple of efest 18350, so the tube im looking is for the EVIC like the eGo-C or Anyvape tube.

I have an 18350 tube and batteries, but they are for short trips. unless they can get 1200 MAH or more they are really not a great performing battery size. I found i really am liking the size and performance of the 18500. I even found some 18500 1700 MAH batteries that have been working great. I only have to top it up occasionally. The spring needed to be stretched, but that was it.

This is the only 18350 tube reasonably price that I have seen recently. It is Pink, but only annodized so a little buffing and you can have a silver tube. Other than that that the tubes are either over priced or out of stock. Pink mule has some great stainless siam's mods tubes in stock, but not sure if they would work for a vamo.

i see a lot of people claiming to use AW P18650 batteries in their evic. are you guys using the starter kit tube? mine is a flat top and does not fit. :|

All eVic tubes are the same thickness. I have some XSL18650's that fit my Vamo but are to thick to fit in eVic. They are also 3mm longer than standards.
