    Ate them all the time growing up. Wouldn't touch one now for anything. I like them, just not tearing up my garden. Usually, they just bury their nuts in the dirt without messing anything up much. This one feels the need to rip all the plants out of the container for some reason.

    So much for a container garden this year or ever again. All that money and work for nothing. I caught squirrels digging all the new plants up and scattering the dirt everywhere. Oh well, I am getting beyond all that work anyway, I guess. I shall miss fresh cukes and tomatoes though.

    I called about 20 dentists, they all say the same. It isn't the same kind of pain that numbing would help. It is eardrum pain from the high pitch noise. Worst of all is it caused some hearing loss and in fact I couldn't hear out of one ear for over a month. They refuse to do a manual cleaning...

    They issued a state of emergency here, no surprise as we have more flooding forecast. My back yard looks like a swimming pool and it is on a slope.

    Thanks, @Janet H We escaped the worst, lots of thunder, wind and rain. Area is under flood watch but we are on a slope so shouldn't be too bad. I don't plan on going anywhere.
