    Morning, mixers.

Back to sunny and warm, but off to the dentist later on (routine), so afternoon rock basking is off for today :)

I can no longer get cleanings because in this area, they will only do the deep cleaning and the cavitron due to periodontal disease. It causes me terrible pain due to the high frequency so I can no longer do it. Guess they want more money, makes no sense to me but oh well, I just do the best I can on my own.

My dd had to get a series of deep cleanings due periodontal disease and they numbed her up first. I don't know about the cavitron, though. I don't think she had that. Did you tell them about the pain? Perhaps, the cavitron could be omitted. Is this the only dentist around?

I called about 20 dentists, they all say the same. It isn't the same kind of pain that numbing would help. It is eardrum pain from the high pitch noise. Worst of all is it caused some hearing loss and in fact I couldn't hear out of one ear for over a month. They refuse to do a manual cleaning.

The cavitron (goes by several names) is what they use for the deep cleanings. Flushes with water and makes a noise similar to a dentist drill which also hurts my ears but not quite as much.
