    there is no flavor, you fire it to burn the paper off and that is what prevents the shorts. at least from what I understand.

    Has anyone tried using a cigarette rolling paper over the wick and then wrapping the coil? I heard its a great way to avoid shorts but I don't see a vid on youtube.
