    By the way all of this stuff that I describe, has been done by others. To them I give credit. That battery holder is just paper I rolled around the battery to size. I then taped it, and put a little epoxy on the ends to keep it from coming loose.

    I built a 18650 flashlight mod a while ago,and the only problem I seem to have with it is that the press in 808d connector keeps loosening up. Causing a loss of ground, and bringing me a lot of irritation. By the way does anyone make a connector with threads? They should. Thanks, Tim Hansen

    Suggestions for Casing for 18650 Mod?

    I used one of those performance tool flashlights. Works very good. I just cant put it in my pocket it has no on/off switch. But I love it, and have been using it for months now. It's the most reliable mod I've done to date.

    The bottom cap came out just ok. The top one I'm gonna have to redo. I don't like it at all. I think the ridge was to thin, and I didn't let the investment cure near long enough. I only gave it a couple of hours to set. But IMO the bottom one is usable.
