Congrats to you and your GF on 5 days m00sey
My first month I spent $200 but I only had 1 Mech Mod. It was the following month that hit me hard as I bought stuff for DIY juice. My advice is either think about DIY or keep your eyes open for sales.
Realize also some of your gear is...
Some of my converts began with an 808 yrs ago and still use the cig sized. Different strokes for diff folks and to me it doesn't matter what they're vaping with...more important they comfortably quit smoking- for some that means using a cig sized.
As for myself I own many APVs but still...
If he really is set on buying a cig sized this is a good kit. I'd suggest he get the 78mm 280mah as a second battery choice, Comes with a PCC meaning it can be carried along and charges the batteries. Seeing as he's a light smoker prolly wouldn't be too expensive. Prefilled cartos cost £4.99 for...
This is prolly the most cost efficient Kit I've seen and for at least the first 2-3 months all he'd need to purchase would be juice.
£28.99
Includes:
2 x EVOD Manual battery 650mah
2 x EVOD 1.5ml Clearomizers (Resistance:2.5ohm)
5 x Bottom Coil Heads (Resistance:2.2ohm)
1 x 500mA eGo Fast USB...
I would also strongly recommend you purchase an atomizer for testing juices. Much easier to clean if new juice is "yucky".

Yes as long as it's USP it's fine. Here's a detailed post BY SmokeyJoe:

Yep agree with DJ  All I ever hear about the Nicolites are complaints and the high expense of running them. Listen to DJ as he'll provide you with reputable Vendors and good advice.
The Provari may seem expensive but in the long run it usually proves to be a prudent buy and is one of the very few APVs that can be repaired and upgraded. I owned a Provari and sold it for almost the original cost- threw in some juice with it.
Most other APVs are hit and miss in the quality...
In the vid I posted the unscrewing happens in the first 15 secs. No pliers or vise needed. If it doesn't unscrew easily then it's a diff type of clearo. Do you have a link from where you bought the Kit?
You should be able to unscrew the black drip tip and fill from a bottle. Don't overfill and try not to get juice in the center air way. If juice gets in the airway blow into tissue from drip tip end.
Hi welcome to ECF and congrats. Yes some quit immediately and some taper off until one morning they realize they enjoy vaping more than smoking. Smoking during the transition period is no big deal. Considering you bought from a B&M Shop the price was good
PG and VG are humectants...

If this is the kit you're thinking of buying everything looks fine except for the charger.
ProVari Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit V2.5
You can buy VG and PG (both USP) at the pharmacy. VG USP is in the First Aid Section near the Isoproyl (labelled as Glycerin USP). Shoppers sells 250 ml for $6.00. As for the PG (500 ml) it's sometimes special order (no need for a Prescription- pharmacies use it as a carrier agent). If asked...
I've had a few separate. Fresh juice with cinnamon almost always has this issue. A high VG juice can also cause problems. As far as using oils in juice I've never done it but there is a small group of seasoned DIY Vets here that regularly use oils in their recipes- small amounts though.
